Samantha Halas

Samantha Halas is a contortionist, antipodist, and circus coach based in Toronto, originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has studied circus arts in China, San Francisco, Mongolia, and across Canada, and has performed with Street Circus, Haut Vol, Luna Caballera, the Underground Circus, Labo Cirque, Chile’s En La Cuerda, and Red Sky Performance, with whom she has toured Canada and Europe. Under the name Frostbite Circus, she has produced and written narrative-driven cabarets, and has been teaching circus arts and contortion for over fifteen years to students from complete beginners to professional performers.
