About
Luke resides in Essex, a county near London, and has dedicated approximately 2 ½ years to practicing contortion. Additionally, he attends classes that focus on Aerial Circus skills, Acro Gymnastics, and Street Dance.
His fascination with contortion began when he stumbled upon Sofie Dossi's debut audition on America's Got Talent through YouTube. Intrigued by her flexibility, he attempted to mimic some of her poses and discovered his innate ability to contort his legs behind his head. Encouraged by the surprised reactions of friends and family, he began exploring more intricate poses, igniting a newfound passion. This revelation occurred when he was just 5 years old, though none of them fully grasped the concept of contortion at the time.
Under the guidance of his coach, Pixie Le Knot, he performed his first solo routine at the London Contortionist Show in February 2020, shortly before the onset of the pandemic. Despite the subsequent lockdowns, he persevered by continuing his training remotely through Zoom. As restrictions eased, he showcased various dance routines and his solo contortion act at the Footworkz Dance School show. In October, he had the opportunity to perform a Cirque du Soleil-inspired contortion act as part of Pixie Le Knot's 'The Contortionist Show,' where numerous talented artists were featured.
