Elena Khaw

Elena Khaw is an aerialist and contortionist from Malaysia who is currently based in Australia.
Her journey in the circus world began 12 years ago whilst she was studying for her Biomedical degree where she decided to enrolled herself as a student at Viva Vertical (also known as Viva Circus)- the leading aerial school in Malaysia.
She dedicated a great amount of time to this art  which then lead her to the world of performance after she was offered a place as part of Viva Circus' performers database.
Elena's life hasn't been the same since, as she could be seen entertaining crowds from different events, with her acrobatic skills which she displays mid-air and on the ground. Though she is a versatile performer, it didn't take her long to fall in love with the lyra and cube which she now specialises in alongside contortion as her secondary discipline. The world of circus has helped Elena travel around the world to both teach and perform.
Countries she has gained opportunity to travel to due to her career includes Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Cambodia, Brunei Darussalam, Dubai and all around Malaysia.
Apart from performing, Elena also found joy in teaching. One of the greatest reward is being able to walk along side her students and watch them grow.
