Lisbeth is a contortionist hailing from Portland, Oregon. Originally from Connecticut, she embarked on her training journey at the age of 5 with ballet. At the age of 11, she discovered her passion for the art of contortion. For three years, she diligently trained herself before deciding to move across the country to collaborate with coaches Gunnar Field and Tsengelmaa Byambadorj.
Upon completing the professional training program at Pendulum Aerial Arts, she joined their professional company, participating in various productions and corporate events. Additionally, she had the opportunity to work with Quixotic in Kansas City and showcased her talents as both a coach and a freelance performer in the Pacific Northwest. In 2016, she showcased her skills at the International Contortion Convention in Las Vegas.
Her artistic journey led her to spend a year in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where she became part of the Rhythms of the Night production under the artistic direction of Debra Brown. Currently, she is engaged in an exciting new project, details of which will be revealed in due course.
In her performances, she skillfully blends the technical aspects of contortion with graceful transitions inspired by her dance background. She adeptly incorporates the striking shapes and lines characteristic of classic contortion, while simultaneously weaving a narrative or evoking a specific mood.
